Before you meet
- Keep conversations on the platform until trust is earned; sealed threads and burning messages exist for exactly this stage.
- Verify before you trust: the gold badge means a human passed verification, and you can ask for a live masked video moment before anything else.
- Reveal in stages. A face is the last thing you share, not the first.
- Tell one person you trust where you are going, even if you keep the why to yourself.
When you meet
- First meetings happen in public places you chose, never theirs.
- Arrange your own transport there and back.
- Keep your phone charged; the panic button works everywhere, and Esc twice hides the app on desktop.
- Alcohol and judgment trade against each other. Pace accordingly.
Inside the platform
- Ghost mode removes you from discovery instantly without deleting anything.
- Auto-expire deletes your profile on a schedule you set, whether or not you remember to.
- Report and block work on every profile and every message, and reports are read by humans.
- Screenshot deterrence flags capture attempts in sealed threads.
If something goes wrong
- Blackmail and extortion attempts: do not pay, preserve the thread, report in-app. The mask means they hold less than they claim.
- Non-consensual sharing of your content is a permanent ban and, where the law provides, a report to authorities.
- If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then us.
