1. Who may use MaskedMate
You must be at least 18 years old and legally an adult in your jurisdiction. By creating an account you confirm this and accept these terms. We may require age or identity verification at any time and will suspend accounts that fail it.
2. What MaskedMate is
MaskedMate is a private social platform for consenting adults. We provide masking tools, matching, and private messaging. We are not a party to any arrangement, meeting, or relationship formed between members, and we make no promise about any outcome.
3. Consent and conduct
Everything on MaskedMate is between consenting adults or it does not belong here. Prohibited without exception: any illegal activity, solicitation of prostitution, content involving minors in any form, non-consensual content or contact, harassment, blackmail, doxxing, commercial spam, and attempts to unmask another member. Violations end the account and, where the law requires, are reported.
4. Your content and your mask
You keep all rights to the content you create. You grant us only the limited license needed to show your masked profile to other members as you direct. Original, unmasked media is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us. You are responsible for what you choose to reveal to other members.
5. Membership tiers and billing
Free and paid tiers are defined by the role you select at signup, not by gender. Paid features are billed under a neutral descriptor. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Payments for completed periods are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
6. Leaving
One tap erases your profile, messages, and media from the platform. Erasure is permanent and immediate on our side; we cannot recall what you previously revealed to another member's device.
7. Liability
MaskedMate is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for member conduct, for meetings that occur off platform, or for indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
